What is it, and how do we do it?

There are two types of screen printing that Zink can undertake - spot colour and four colour process.

Zink is the proud owner of a six colour four station printing press. That means we can print up to six colours of ink onto your item. With the right artwork, more colours can be achieved in an image with shading effects that bleed colours through each other as well as incorporating the substrate colour (the color of the shirt/sticker/CD/poster etc.) into the image.

Four colour process screen printing

All the colours of the rainbow can be made from Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black. The inks are translucent and printed in a series of overlaying dots like the colour images in a newspaper. Depending on the colour, size and position of the dots a different shade will be formed.
